How do I find the product I need?

Click 'Products' on the top navigation bar from anywhere on the SwanTek web site to see the complete product index. Choose from any of the product groups then click on any product for full details.

Alternatively, if you know the product name just look it up in the alphabetical product index in the on-line catalogue.

If you're not sure which section to look in, try using the search box at the top of any SwanTek web site page. For example, if you need a product to clean aluminium components type 'Aluminium cleaner' and click 'Go'.

Where can I get advice on how best to use SwanTek products?

Every SwanTek product comes labelled with instructions for use. There are also detailed instructions for use and technical information on the product's web page in the on-line catalogue. And you can always call us free on 01539 722247 to talk to our technical experts, who have many years experience of industrial problem solving.

The product label and safety data sheet also carry important safety information, which you must follow. If you are unsure of how to make use of this information consult your company's health and safety representative.

Where do I find a product's safety data sheet?

First find the product in the on-line catalogue then follow the 'SDS' link on the index page, or the 'Safety Data Sheet' link on the product page. You can then print the page for future reference.

I've got a safety data sheet. What does it all mean?

A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) contains a great deal of information about a product, such as details of any hazardous components, guidance on safe transport, storage and use, first aid measures and other regulatory information.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

Ordering is very straightforward. We accept orders by phone on 01539 722247, by fax on 01539 740067, or by email to sales@swantek.com. Quote the product name, code (if known), quantity, delivery and invoice addresses, your contact details and company purchase order number.

Product prices, volume discounts and special offers.

The SwanTek web site has prices for most SwanTek brands. Quoted prices exclude VAT. Some products in limited supply or subject to commodity price variations may not be priced - call 01539 722247 for a quotation.

Most SwanTek brands are also available with generous quantity discounts. See the 'Prices & Offers' section on the product pages for full details, and for any other special promotions currently available.

Can I pay by credit/debit card?

Yes. We accept most credit and debit cards, and company purchase cards. Have your card details ready when you call. Do not send card details over the internet.

How do I open and operate a credit account?

Most established businesses will be eligible for a credit account. Our terms are payment at 30 days from date of invoice. Call us on 01539 722247 for more information.

Delivery

When will I receive my order?

Most orders received by 3pm are despatched that day for delivery next working day. Some hazardous goods are sent via dedicated hazardous goods vehicles and may take up to three days.

If there is likely to be a delay we will let you know, and give you an expected delivery date.

How can I get a signed proof of delivery for my order?

Click 'Track Order' from the top of the SwanTek home page. Enter your order number in the large box and select 'Reference number' then 'Track'. If you have any problems please call us on 01539 722247.

Delivery options and charges.

Delivery is by TNT Next Day or our pallet carrier for all brands in stock. Standard delivery charge is £9.50. Additional charges apply for delivery to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and offshore islands, and for timed deliveries, hazardous goods and branded lubricants.

SwanTek holds information on customers in accordance with current legislation. We do this only to the extent necessary to service customers' accounts.
