Product is not classed as hazardous under Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging) Regulations 1994.
Use commonsense precautions when handling this product

4. First Aid Measures

General:
Inhalation: Move patient to fresh air. Seek medical attention if difficulties persist.
Ingestion: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Give small sips of milk or water to drink and seek immediate medical attention
Eye Contact: Rinse immediately with large quantities of clean water. Seek medical attention.
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area well with soap and water.

5. Fire Fighting Measures

Product is not flammable, however irritating fumes may be given off in the event of a fire. Treat fires with either dry chemical, foam or waterspray - do not use waterjet.

6. Accidental Release Measures

Spillages need to be contained to prevent entering watercourse. Absorb spillage in inert material e.g. dry sand/earth and transfer into any secure container(s) for disposal. Wash spillage down with water.

7. Handling and Storage

Handling: Use only according to directions
Do not mix with other chemicals
Always ensure cap is replaced and tightened after use
Do not use in confined or non ventilated areas
Storage: Store away from children-
Do not store in temperatures greater than 35°C or less than 0°C

8. Exposure Controls/Personal Protection

Prevent contact with eyes by wearing safety glasses if necessary and wear protective rubber gloves when handling this product - glove type acrylo-nitrile.
Always maintain a good standard of occupational hygiene when handling chemicals.

Product is stable under normal conditions.

11. Toxicological Information

No significant health hazard when properly used for the application it was designed for.
Effects due to overexposure when:
In contact with eyes: Severe irritation and redness
In contact with skin: Frequent contact may cause irritation
Ingested: Sore mouth and throat, abdominal pain, diarrhoea
Inhaled: Irritation/sore throat Note: Recent reports have noted that a limited number of incidents of temporary blurred vision with use of one of the solvents contained within this formulaltion. This condition lasted between 1 and several hours after direct exposure to that solvent only. No permanent adverse health effects were found. At the time of these incidents the recommended concentration of the solvent in the air was exceeded and/or there was prolonged skin contact with it. Under the recommended usage directions no adverse effects have been reported. As an extra precaution we recommend the following safety precautions be observed when handling our product:
1. Always ensure good ventilation
2. Always wear adequate eye protection
3. Always wear adequate skin protection (overalls, impervious gloves etc) as required to minimise exposure to the skin.
