WHY GALVIT?
If you want to prevent corrosion or repair a galvanized scratch or weld it's got to be best with Galvit. Specially formulated to do just that. Quickly, cleanly and easily Galvit's easy to use spray applies a quality coating for pipework and metal fabrication to help eliminate corrosion. Galvit is also tried, tested and proven in use by our chemical, shipbuilding and ship refit Naval customers as a very cost effective alternative to re-galvanizing to repair and restore galvanized ducting, pipework and equipment.
The new generation Galvit is a zinc rich corrosion protector which quickly gives a perfect galvanic grade anti-rust coating which can be used to treat all iron and steel surfaces. This silverized zinc rich free flowing film is quick drying and chemically forms a zinc phosphate coating on treated metal surfaces forming a completely insoluble water and corrosion resistant coating to prevent further corrosion for the long term
SOME PROVEN APPLICATIONS
Protection of bare iron and steel fabrications and restoring galvanic protection to galvanized metals following damage. Galvit is also used specifically by major defence and civilian shipbuilders for pipework 'touch up' work to MOD(N) specifications on both nucleur and non nucleur vessels.

OTHER APLICATIONS
Touch up of alloy car wheels. Galvit is recommended for plant, machinery, tools, cars, commercial vehicles, farm and construction equipment, tanks, guttering, fences, pipework, pipelines, coating welds and bolt holes, motorway barriers, posts, road signs, highway lamp standards, battery casings.

Rusted surfaces - remove loose scale or blooming
Clean metal surfaces - make sure surface is clean, dry and degreased
Galvanized surfaces - make sure surface is clean, dry and degreased
Shake aerosol until agitator ball rattles freely. Spray onto area or equipment to be coated from 25 - 30 cms holding sprat upright. Use a series of light coats to build up thickness required. Allow to dry completely between coats (2 - 4 hrs) before further painting. Do not spray onto naked flames, incandescent materials or hot surfaces. After use invert the can and clear the nozzle by pressing the actuator for a period of 30 seconds
